Nadya Meykson holds Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in Violin Performance from the Eastman School of Music, where she served as Teaching Assistant for Mikhail Kopelman. Her other primary teachers are Levon Ambartsumian, Alexander Volobuev, Alvia Vandysheva, Elvira Simonova, and Ai-Yi Bao.​

Nadya has performed as soloist and chamber musician in venues including Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, Millennium Stage at The Kennedy Center, Merkin Concert Hall at Kaufman Center, Tchaikovsky Concert Hall at the Moscow State Philharmonic Society, The David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center, The Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory and David Josefowitz Recital Hall at the Royal Academy of Music in London.

In 2013, Nadya founded The Nannerl Trio in collaboration with pianist Elizaveta Kopelman and cellist Kirsten Jermé. In 2014, in collaboration with pianist Victoria Schwartzman, Nadya released the album “Postludium”, which was sponsored by the COJECO Blueprint Fellowship. The album features music by Schnittke, Silvestrov, Auerbach, Achron, Krein, and Babadzhanyan. In 2022, together with pianist Hwaen Ch’uqi, they formed Duo Perussia.​

As soloist, Nadya has appeared with the OSSIA Orchestra, Shoals Symphony Orchestra, Tuscaloosa Symphony Orchestra, and Alabama Youth Symphony Orchestra. She has won various prizes including the Noel Levine Award, First Prize at Ray Dunmyer Youth Concerto Competition, Howard Hanson Scholarship, Charles W. Kennett Scholarship, and First Prize at Shoals Symphony Orchestra Young Artist Competition. In 2006, Nadya was selected to participate in the London Master Classes, held at the Royal Academy of Music in London. She also received a full scholarship for three consecutive summers to participate in the National Symphony Orchestra's Summer Music Institute at The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.

In 2018, Nadya graduated from the Film Scoring program at the Moscow Film School. In 2019 she was selected to participate in Envision Sound – a film scoring program led by Emmy Award winning composer Michael Price. Nadya's compositions are often influenced by early and ethnic music as well as by her cats, Johann and Sebastian.
